Fees and Costs
No attorney fee unless there is a recovery. As the guide’s FAQ explains, the fee is a percentage of the gross recovery, historically one-third before a lawsuit is filed and forty percent once the case is in litigation. The firm advances case costs, and at The May Firm those costs are not repaid by the client if the case does not recover. The fee and how case costs are handled are set by the written agreement for each case.
